It’s with great sadness that the King family announces the unexpected passing of Albert Neil King. Neil passed away in his sleep at "Buckingham Manor" senior living residence in Stouffville, Ontario on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at the age of 76. The King family had nine children, the surviving brothers and sister are Bill, Bob, Alan and Pat. will deeply miss their brother. Neil was the "uncle" to multiple nieces and nephews who will affectionately remember him. Special thanks to the staff of Buckingham Manor for their compassionate care and compassion. Neil had a genuine friendship with all the residents and staff during his past three years living at Buckingham Manor. Visitation at PAUL O’CONNOR FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (between Warden and Pharmacy) on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 3 - 5pm and 7 - 9pm. During the evening visitation family and friends will bow their heads in a short Prayer Service at 7:30pm Neil's cremated remains will be placed in the family plot at a later date in St James Cemetery (on Parliament Street south of Bloor St. in Toronto, Ontario). In lieu of flowers you may send donations to the Children’s Cancer Unit at The Hospital for Sick Children, 555 University Ave, Toronto, Ontario, M5G 1X8. The King family gratefully appreciate your donations in the memory of Neil. The King family and his friends will fondly remember Neil.
