John R. Malloy June 9, 1926 - June 13, 2020 Passed away peacefully on June 13, 2020 at the age of 94. Devoted husband of Isabel and beloved father of Belinda, Michael (deceased), Maureen and Kevin (Allison). John was the loving grandfather of Lee, Jessica, Cody and Brendan. Dear great-grandfather of Kate and Oliver. A proud veteran of the Canadian military that included services such as his tenure as a Weapons Specialist at CFB Petawawa, and a bugle player for The Governor General’s Horse Guards. John was also a respected and successful businessman, dedicating more than four decades of his life to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, notably serving as General Manager, TV Sales and Marketing. He stimulated the curiosity of others with his insightfulness, intelligence, and amazing storytelling abilities. A memorial donation arrangement is yet to be determined. If interested in participating, please contact Kevin Malloy (kevinhmalloy@rogers.com) to receive details when they become available. We will remember John as an outgoing and loving gentleman who lived an incredible life to the fullest, on his own terms.
