What do you say about a woman who touched so many lives and at '102 years-young' could still bring a smile to everyone's face who met her! Family and friends meant everything to Mum and she loved unconditionally, was compassionate, caring, kind-hearted and she had the most amazing smile that could melt your heart. Mum, what better legacy to leave than knowing you helped re-define the way people looked at 'seniors' over the last 10-15 years of your life!
Mum and Dad had 54 wonderful years together before Dad passed in 2003 and we know she's reunited with 'Papa Doug' again, as well as with her loving brother Milton, and sister-in-law Marjorie Wallace.
We will be eternally grateful for her peaceful passing, at home, surrounded by her loving daughters Brenda and Linda, and Grandson Brendon (and in spirit, by her loving daughter Pat, and Grandsons Mike and Sean from out West).
We would like to say a special 'Thank You' to Mum's wonderful Home Care team: Kamal, Josephine and Rishan, who took such amazing care of Mum over the years; Mum's caring team of nurses: Irene, Shannon, Joan and Sarah; and everyone at the GAIN Clinic, including Dr. Berry, Andrea, Christine and Jenny. Without all of you we wouldn't have been able to fulfill Mum's wishes to stay at home over the last 9 months.
A heartfelt 'Thank You' to all of Mum's friends at her beloved Wexford United Church, for always keeping in touch with her and sending her love and prayers throughout the last few years when she could no longer attend services.
And, last but not least, to Mum's biggest admirer, our Postman, Bruno, who has doted over her for the past 7 years, and who has always considered Mum like a Grandmother to him. You made her smile every single day and we are so grateful for the special bond you had with her.
In honouring Mum's wishes, there will be no memorial and our family will hold a private graveside service sometime in the future when our entire family can be together.
All our love to the best 'Mum & Nana' in the world, your loving daughters Pat, Linda and Brenda, and your Grandsons who adored you - Brendon, Mike and Sean. Love you lots!

I just learned of your Mom’s passing yesterday from my cousin Jeannie Henry. I remember your family coming to visit my grandparents,Clarke and Annie Moore. I lived next door the daughter of Stewart and Bertha. My memory of your mom was how elegant she was. When my grandparents moved to Sussex I remember spending many evenings at your grandparents. Wonderful memories. Take care.
